NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eyeliner

Hey lovely!

This time we will be talking about the NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eyeliner! To start of I am going to say I did receive this product complimentary to do reviews on (click here for more info in Influenster.) I got in my College 2012 Vox Box. They teamed up with New York Color (click here) do give out these amazing products for Influenster members to do reviews on. Lets get started!

This is just the classic NYC packaging. This product retails for $2.49 and can be found at most drug stores. I have found it at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and Kmart.

The color I got was show time black. It has both very fine glitter and bigger chunks of glitter. There are three other colors Starry Blue Sky, which is a deep blue with rather large chunks of glitter. Glitterazzi Brown, which is a very bronzey brown with medium and small chunks of glitter. And finally Paparazzi Purple, which is my opinion is a very spring purple color almost pastel but not quite with medium chunks of glitter.
The claims of this eyeliner are:
Long wearing
Metallic sparkling effect
Smooth and creamy formula
Does not smudge
Non-draggy
Provides a precise line

Now while some of those are true a few are not. But in my opinion that is not necessarily bad! I use it for tight lining my eyes and for smoking out my lash line. It makes my lashes look really full and on the tight line the glitter makes my eyes look brighter. It is long lasting! It lasted a good seven hours before it started coming off on my crease. They sparkly affect is there it just doesn't show up well on camera. It was smooth and creamy which made it super easy to work with. This is where the fibs come in-in my opinion. It smudges like crazy! But I like that because it really nice for a smokey look! I wouldn't say it is non-draggy because if you have very dry lids it is which also makes it not so precise but other than that this eyeliner is amazing!

Overall I love this mascara and the more I use it and figure out things I can use it for the more I love it! I suggest you pick it up and try it!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Hey lovely!

So I got these as a part of the Influester College 2012 Vox Box. They are $7.99 for the patterns and $5.99 for solids. Click here to go to the imPRESS website. I wore these for about a week and a half before the got weak and started falling off. Pretty good seeing as when I do my nails they only last a few days. Now there are a few things you need to be warned about on this product. I will talk about that and some tips in this blog!

Close up picture.
Full view.

They are to big I know but they only had sizes that were either to big or way, way to small. So, I went the ones that were a little to big because the other ones only cover 3/4 of my nails. This was the result and I was honestly impressed because most fake nails are difficult to use and apply. But these were super easy to apply as they claimed to be. When it came to removing them they were super easy to apply and my nails were actually healthier then when I applied them.

Now to the tips!
Make sure your nails are cut short because these are rather short. So, cut and file them girl!
Also if you want to make them look more natural apply a matte top coat. It will reduce the shine. Even though they claim the shine is one of the things that makes them awesome I think they make them look a little to fake.

Overall I think these are amazing and that you should try them. For such a low price there is no way to go wrong! Nothing to really lose. So, try them out and tell me how it goes! Stay tuned for the rest of My College Vox Box series where I will be reviewing the other products individually!
